Getting There
Car
From Phou Bia, head southeast on Route 13 towards Paksong. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the intersection near Paksong. Turn left onto Route 20 and follow the signs for Tad Fane Waterfall. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you reach the vicinity, look for signs indicating the entrance to the Tad Fane Waterfall area, and park your car in the designated parking area.
Public Transportation (Songthaew)
To take a Songthaew (shared taxi), go to the main bus station in Phou Bia. Look for a Songthaew heading towards Paksong. The fare is usually around 20,000 LAK. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Tad Fane Waterfall. The ride will take roughly 1 hour, depending on the number of stops. Once you arrive near the entrance of the waterfall area, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the waterfall itself.
Motorbike
Rent a motorbike from a local shop in Phou Bia. Ensure you have a valid driver's license and a helmet. Head southeast on Route 13 towards Paksong, then take a left onto Route 20. It's approximately a 30-kilometer ride. Follow the signs for Tad Fane Waterfall. Riding a motorbike allows for greater flexibility, and the journey will take around 45 minutes.
