Walking
From the center of Thakhek, start at the Mekong River near Thakhek Market. Head south along the riverfront road (Avenue de la Paix). Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Route 12. Turn left onto Route 12. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Look for the signs directing you towards The Rock Viewpoint, which is located on the right side of the road. Once you see the entrance, walk up the path that leads to the viewpoint.

Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from various shops in Thakhek. Start your journey at the Thakhek Market and head south towards the Mekong River. Take Avenue de la Paix along the riverfront for about 1 kilometer. At the junction, turn left onto Route 12. Cycle for about 5 kilometers, keeping an eye out for signs indicating The Rock Viewpoint. The entrance will be on your right. After parking your bicycle, walk along the path to reach the viewpoint.

Rent a motorbike from a local rental shop in Thakhek. From the rental shop, head towards the Mekong River and take Avenue de la Paix south for about 1 kilometer. When you reach Route 12, turn left. Drive for approximately 5 kilometers, watching for signage that points to The Rock Viewpoint. The entrance will be on your right side. Park your bike and walk up the path to the viewpoint.
