If you are driving from Vang Vieng, head northeast on Route 13 for about 6 km. Look out for signs indicating the turn-off for Tham Poukham Cave. You will need to turn left onto a smaller road that leads directly to the cave entrance. There is a parking area available. Make sure to arrive before 5:30 PM, as the cave closes at that time.

From the center of Vang Vieng, hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Tham Poukham Cave.
