You will need to turn left onto a smaller road that leads directly to the cave entrance. There is a parking area available. Make sure to arrive before 5:30 PM, as the cave closes at that time.

Public Transportation (Tuk-Tuk)
From the center of Vang Vieng, hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Tham Poukham Cave. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes and cost around 30,000 to 50,000 LAK (Lao Kip) per person, depending on your negotiation skills. The tuk-tuk will drop you off at the entrance of the cave. Ensure you agree on a pick-up time for your return trip.

For an adventurous option, rent a bicycle in Vang Vieng and cycle to Tham Poukham Cave. The ride is approximately 6 km and takes about 30-40 minutes. You will follow Route 13 and then take the left turn for the cave. The roads are mostly flat and scenic. Make sure to wear a helmet and carry water, as it can get hot.
