Motorbike/Tuk-tuk
From Vang Vieng town, the most common way to reach Blue Lagoon 2 is by renting a motorbike or hiring a tuk-tuk. Head southwest out of town, following the signs towards Blue Lagoon 1. After approximately 5km, you'll see a road veering left; follow this road. The road will turn into a dirt/gravel road for the remaining distance. The journey takes around 30-40 minutes by motorbike. Tuk-tuk rentals can be negotiated in town, expect to pay around 250,000-300,000 LAK for a round trip including waiting time. Motorbike rentals cost approximately 100,000-150,000 LAK per day. Entrance fee to Blue Lagoon 2 is 20,000 LAK per person.

For a more adventurous and eco-friendly option, consider cycling to Blue Lagoon 2. Bicycle rentals are available in Vang Vieng for around 50,000 LAK per day. Follow the same route as for motorbikes/tuk-tuks, keeping in mind that the road becomes unpaved for a portion of the journey. The ride can be challenging due to the road conditions, so ensure you are comfortable cycling on uneven surfaces. Allow at least 1.5-2 hours for the journey each way.
