Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Vang Vieng, head southwest on Route 13. You will pass several restaurants and shops. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road that leads towards the river. Look for signs or ask locals about the way to Vang Vieng View. Once you reach the riverbank, follow the path along the river until you see a small trail that leads uphill to your right. Follow this trail, which will take you through some lush greenery. After about 20 minutes of walking uphill, you will arrive at Vang Vieng View, which is marked by beautiful lookout points over the surrounding landscape.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Vang Vieng. Start by cycling southwest on Route 13, heading towards the river. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will find a junction where you can turn onto a smaller road leading to the river. Keep cycling along this road until you reach the riverbank. Once there, look for a trail heading uphill to your right. This part of the journey is a bit steep, so take your time. After about 20 minutes of cycling uphill, you will reach Vang Vieng View, where you can enjoy stunning views of the area.

• Trekking

  For the adventure seekers, consider joining a guided trekking tour from Vang Vieng. Many local tour companies offer packages that include a hike to Vang Vieng View. The trek usually begins in the town center, where you will meet your guide. The trek will take you through scenic landscapes, rice fields, and local villages. After several hours of trekking, you will arrive at Vang Vieng View, where you can relax and take in the breathtaking vistas.
