From Vang Vieng city center, hire a tuk-tuk for a round trip to Blue Lagoon 3. Negotiate the price beforehand; a typical fare is around 250,000 to 500,000 Kip for the entire day, including a few hours at the lagoon. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour due to the road conditions. This price may also include a stop at the toll bridge over the Nam Song River, which costs 20,000 KIP.
Motorbike
Rent a motorbike in Vang Vieng and drive to Blue Lagoon 3. The rental typically costs around 40,000 to 80,000 Kip per day. The ride takes about 35-45 minutes, but be cautious of the bumpy, unpaved road. Follow the main road out of Vang Vieng, cross the Nam Song River, and continue for approximately 18 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Blue Lagoon 3. Factor in the 20,000 KIP toll for the bridge.
