From Vang Vieng town center, walk south towards the Vangvieng Resort. Enter the resort and cross the orange bridge over the Nam Song River. After crossing the bridge, turn left and follow the path for about 200 meters to the base of the cave. Costs: - Entrance to the Vangvieng Resort area: 5,000 LAK. - Entrance to Tham Chang Cave: 15,000 LAK.
Motorbike/Bicycle
Rent a motorbike or bicycle in Vang Vieng and follow the main road south. Turn right towards Tmark Resort and continue past it to the Vangvieng Resort. Park your vehicle and cross the bridge over the Nam Song River. Follow the path to the cave entrance. Costs: - Motorbike rental: Approximately 50,000 LAK per day. - Bicycle rental: Approximately $2 USD per day. - Entrance to the Vangvieng Resort area: 5,000 LAK. - Entrance to Tham Chang Cave: 15,000 LAK. - Parking fee for motorbike: 3,000 LAK.
