Getting There

Tuk-tuk
From Vang Vieng, hire a tuk-tuk for a 14km trip north to Tham Xang. Tuk-tuk fares are negotiable, so agree on a price before starting your journey. Expect to pay around 50,000 LAK for the trip. The journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes.

Rent a motorbike in Vang Vieng and drive north on Route 13 for about 14 km. Turn left (west) between KM 169 and KM 170, then follow the road and cross the river to reach the cave entrance. Motorbike rentals start from $6 USD per day.
