    Walking

    From Vang Vieng's main street, head northwest, passing the Vang Vieng Market. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the road leading to the Blue Lagoon. Turn right and follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the way to Phapoak Mountain. The total walking distance from the town center to the mountain trail entrance is about 3 kilometers. Walking to the mountain base is free.

    Tuk-Tuk

    Hire a tuk-tuk from Vang Vieng town center to the base of Phapoak Mountain. Negotiate the fare beforehand, but expect to pay around 10,000-20,000 LAK. The journey takes approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
