    If you are starting from the central area of Vientiane, head southeast towards the Mekong River. Walk along Rue Setthathilath until you reach the intersection with Rue Lane Xang. Turn right onto Rue Lane Xang and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by the Patuxai monument on your left. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Rue Khoun Boulom. Turn left onto Rue Khoun Boulom and walk for another 500 meters. Ho Phrakeo Museum will be on your right, just past the intersection with Rue Sisavangvong.
