Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Xaisomboun Province (Vang Xang). Head east on Route 13 for about 20 km until you reach the junction for Route 7. Turn left onto Route 7, and drive for another 10 km. Look for a sign for Tham Poukham Cave on your right. Follow this road for about 3 km until you reach the entrance of Tham Poukham Cave. Parking is available near the entrance, but there may be a small fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Tham Poukham Cave using public transportation, take a local bus or shared taxi from Vang Xang towards Naka. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Tham Poukham Cave. Once you arrive at the entrance, you may need to pay a small entrance fee to access the cave area. Ensure you check the return schedule of public transport to avoid being stranded.
Walking
If you're staying close to Naka, you can walk to Tham Poukham Cave. From the center of Naka, head south on the main road for about 2 km. This will lead you directly to the entrance of the cave.
