From the center of Xaisomboun Province, head southeast on Route 13. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 30 towards Hat Khay. Turn right onto Route 30 and drive for approximately 15 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Tad Xai Waterfall. Once you reach the area, you may need to park your vehicle and walk the remaining distance. The waterfall is located at F42V+PR6, Hat Khay.

To reach Tad Xai Waterfall via public transportation, find a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Hat Khay from the main bus terminal in Xaisomboun Province. The ride should take roughly 1 hour and cost around 15,000 to 20,000 LAK per person. Once you arrive in Hat Khay, you may need to hire a motorbike taxi or walk the last few kilometers to the waterfall, following local signs or asking for directions. The final destination coordinates are F42V+PR6, Hat Khay.
