Car
From the center of Xekong Province, head southeast on Route 16. Follow the signs for Tadlo waterfall. After approximately 35 km, you will reach the village of Tadlo. Turn left onto a small road leading to the waterfall. The parking area is close to the entrance, and there is no fee for parking.
Public Transportation
Catch a local bus or minivan from the main bus station in Xekong Province heading towards Tadlo. Ensure you inform the driver of your destination to make sure they stop at Tadlo village. The bus ride will take about 1 hour and typically costs around 15,000 LAK (approximately $1 USD). Once you arrive in Tadlo, you can walk to the waterfall, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the village center.
Motorbike Rental
If you prefer more flexibility, consider renting a motorbike from a local rental shop in Xekong. Follow Route 16 southeast for around 35 km until you reach Tadlo village. After arriving, park your bike in the designated area and walk to the waterfall. Motorbike rentals generally cost around 60,000 LAK ($4 USD) per day.
