    If you are driving, you can reach Cánh đồng chum (Plain of Jars Site 1) by following Route 7 from Phonsavan, the capital of Xiangkhoang Province. Start in Phonsavan and head east on Route 7, which is well-marked. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to the Plain of Jars. Turn off the main road when you see the signs, and continue for a further 5 kilometers until you arrive at the site. There is parking available near the entrance.

    To reach Cánh đồng chum via public transportation, take a local bus from Phonsavan. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station in Phonsavan and head towards the Plain of Jars.
