If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Phonsavan, the capital of Xiangkhoang Province. Head south on Road 7 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Road 13. Turn left onto Road 13 and continue for about 35 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the direction to Tad Lang Waterfalls, as they will guide you off the main road. Follow the smaller road for another 10 kilometers until you arrive at the parking area near the waterfalls. There may be a small parking fee, typically around 10,000 LAK.

To reach Tad Lang Waterfalls using public transportation, take a local bus from the main bus station in Phonsavan heading towards Xiang Di. Buses run several times a day and the fare is usually around 20,000 LAK. Inform the driver of your destination, as some may not directly stop at the waterfalls. After about an hour's journey, you will arrive at a nearby stop. From there, you can either walk for about 4 kilometers or negotiate a ride with a local tuk-tuk or motorbike taxi, which may cost around 15,000 to 30,000 LAK to take you the rest of the way.
