If you are traveling by car, head towards Phonsavan, the capital of Xiangkhoang Province. The Vietnamese War Monument is located at C6Q2+FMC, Phonsavan. From the center of Phonsavan, drive towards the main roundabout and take the exit that leads to Route 7. Follow Route 7 for about 2 kilometers, and you will see the monument on your left. There is parking available nearby.

To reach the Vietnamese War Monument using public transportation, take a local bus or minivan heading towards Phonsavan from your current location. Buses typically depart from the main bus station in Xiangkhoang Province. Once you arrive at the Phonsavan bus terminal, exit the terminal and look for a tuk-tuk or motorbike taxi. Inform the driver that you would like to go to the Vietnamese War Monument located at C6Q2+FMC. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes, and the fare is usually around 20,000 to 30,000 LAK.

If you are already in the vicinity of the monument and prefer walking, you can navigate to the Vietnamese War Monument by locating the Phonsavan Central Market as your starting point. From the market, head east on Rue 1 until you reach the main roundabout. At the roundabout, take the exit towards Route 7 and continue walking for about 2 kilometers. You will see the monument on your left. The walk is scenic and will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
