Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start from the city center of Xieng Khouang. Head southeast on Route 7 for about 120 km until you reach the turnoff for Vang Vieng. Follow the signs to Vang Vieng and continue on the main road. Upon reaching Vang Vieng, keep an eye out for the Unnamed Road (WC5R+XXG). Turn onto this road and drive for approximately 5 km. The Jang Cave will be located on your left side, identifiable by its natural formations.

Public Transportation
From the center of Xieng Khouang, take a bus or minivan heading to Vang Vieng. The journey takes around 4-5 hours and costs approximately 50,000 to 80,000 LAK. Once you arrive in Vang Vieng, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Jang Cave. The tuk-tuk ride will cost around 30,000 to 50,000 LAK and will take about 15-20 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Unnamed Road (WC5R+XXG) where the cave is located.

Bicycle
For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Vang Vieng. After taking a bus from Xieng Khouang to Vang Vieng, rent a bike from one of the local shops. Ride along the main road towards Jang Cave, which is approximately 5 km from Vang Vieng. This route provides a scenic view of the surrounding landscape and will take about 30 minutes to reach the cave.
