From Jomas iela, Jūrmala's main pedestrian street, walk towards the eastern end. The park is located at the intersection of Jomas iela and Turaidas iela, approximately a 5-minute walk. Look for the park entrance and the prominent viewing tower.

Public Transport

Take a train to Dzintari station. From the station, walk along Jomas iela towards Turaidas iela. The park is about a 10-15 minute walk from the station. Alternatively, take bus routes 1 or 2 from the station to a stop near the park. A single bus fare costs approximately €1-2.

Dzintari Forest Park, a 13-hectare natural haven in the center of Jūrmala, Latvia, provides a unique blend of recreation and relaxation. The park's most valuable asset is its 200-year-old pine grove, which has remained untouched despite its central location.The park is designed for both active and peaceful recreation. Visitors can stroll along the walkways, rollerblade, or, in winter, enjoy cross-country skiing on illuminated paths. Children can enjoy three playgrounds, while active leisure enthusiasts can visit the skate park or play street basketball.The 33.5-meter-high Dzintari watchtower offers panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding area from its viewing platform. The tower has 12 platforms at different heights, providing varied perspectives. Opened in 2010, the tower's design blends seamlessly with the pine forest, offering both a viewing experience and protection for the natural surroundings.In winter, the forest park transforms into a magical Park of Light with thousands of LED decorations. The park also features cafes, parking lots, and restrooms for visitors' convenience.
