  • Public Transport

    From Riga Central Station, take a train towards Tukums, Ķemeri, or Sloka. The journey to Majori, in the center of Jūrmala, takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around €1.50. Purchase tickets at the station or from the conductor. Several trains stop at various stations along Jūrmala's coast. Check the schedule at www.vivi.lv. Alternatively, take a minibus from Riga International Bus Terminal to Majori, which takes about 30 minutes. Local buses also operate within Jūrmala; check satiksme.jurmala.lv for routes and schedules.

  • Walking

    From the Majori train station, the beach is a short walk. Exit the station and walk straight ahead on Jomas iela, the pedestrian street leading directly to the beach. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes.

  • Car

    Jūrmala is approximately 20 km west of Riga via the A10/E22 highway. Be aware of the entry fee of €3, which can be paid at toll points in Priedaine (if arriving from Riga) or Vaivari (if arriving from Tukums). Payment can be made with cash, card, or via mobile app. Electric vehicles are exempt from the entry fee. Parking is free in Jūrmala where allowed, excluding private car parks. Note: During summer weekends, parking can be limited.
