Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Riga, take a train from Riga Central Station in the direction of Jurmala. Purchase a ticket to the Bulduri station; the journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Bulduri, cross the railroad tracks and walk straight along Muižas street for about 7 minutes to reach Līvu Akvaparks. A train ticket will cost approximately €1-€3.

    From the center of Jūrmala, a taxi ride to Līvu Akvaparks typically costs between €6 and €10, depending on the distance and traffic. Ride-sharing services like Bolt are also available. The journey usually takes around 10-15 minutes.

Līvu Akvaparks is a sprawling indoor and outdoor water park located in the resort town of Jūrmala, Latvia. Opened on December 30, 2003, after two years of construction costing €16 million, it has become one of the largest water parks in Northern Europe. The park covers a total area of 18,000 square meters and welcomes over 4.5 million visitors. The park is divided into four distinct zones: active entertainment with thrilling slides, a relaxing family recreation area, a rejuvenating SPA complex, and an open-air summer beach. Līvu Akvaparks features more than 20 different slides, catering to various thrill levels. There are also over 10 pools of varying depths and sizes, including a wave pool that simulates an ocean beach. For relaxation, the SPA complex offers a salt chamber, four jacuzzis (one with mineral water), a Turkish bath, an oxygen bath, underwater and air massage equipment, and an ice generator. During the summer, visitors can enjoy the outdoor area with a large pool, a fountain, and additional slides. Dining options include Bistro Zambezi for hearty meals and a bar in the SPA complex for enjoying drinks. During the summer, an outdoor café with a spacious terrace on the riverbank is also open.
