Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Kuldiga, head south on Kalna iela towards the Kuldiga Old Town. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, where it merges onto Jāņa iela. Follow Jāņa iela until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Liepājas iela. Follow this road as it leads you out of Kuldiga. After about 5 kilometers, you'll reach the turn-off for Pedvāle. Look for a sign on the right directing you to the Pedvale Open Air Museum. Follow the signs to reach the entrance of the museum.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kuldiga. Start your journey by heading south on Kalna iela, then merge onto Jāņa iela. Continue until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit onto Liepājas iela. Keep cycling for about 5 kilometers until you see the sign for Pedvāle. Turn right at the sign and follow the road, which will lead you directly to the museum.

  • Public Transport

    From Kuldiga, walk to the bus station located at Abava iela 2. Check the bus schedule for the next bus heading towards Talsi. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you want to get off at Pedvāle. The bus ride is approximately 15-20 minutes. After getting off, follow the signs to Pedvale Open Air Museum, which is within walking distance from the bus stop.
