Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from anywhere in Riga Bay, head towards the city center of Riga. Take the A7 road towards Riga, which will merge into the E22 highway. Follow the signs for Rīga and continue on the main roads. Once you arrive in the Central District, look for Aspazijas bulvāris. The Latvian National Opera is located at Aspazijas bulvāris 3, LV-1050. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to find a public parking space or use street parking if available. Note that parking fees may apply.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  To reach the Latvian National Opera using public transportation, find a nearby bus stop in Riga Bay. Look for bus lines that go to the city center. You can take bus number 1, 2, 3, or 22. Disembark at the 'Opera' bus stop, which is conveniently located near the opera house. The ticket price for a single journey is approximately €1.15, which you can purchase from ticket machines or the bus driver.

• Public Transportation - Tram

  If you prefer to travel by tram, head to a tram station in Riga Bay. Take tram line 11 or 7, which both serve routes towards the Central District. Get off at the 'Rīgas Operas' stop, which is just a short walk from the Latvian National Opera. A single tram ticket costs around €1.15 and can be bought from ticket machines or via the transport app.

• Walking

  If you find yourself in the vicinity of the Central District, walking to the Latvian National Opera is an excellent option. Simply head towards Aspazijas bulvāris 3. The area is pedestrian-friendly, and you can enjoy the beautiful architecture and atmosphere of the city along the way.
