Walking
If you are in the Central District, head towards Brīvības iela, which is one of the main streets. Walk south until you reach the intersection with Herdera laukums. Turn left onto Herdera laukums. Continue walking for about 200 meters. You will see the Riga Cathedral located at Herdera laukums 6, right in front of the square.
Public Transport
If you prefer to take public transport, locate the nearest tram stop serving routes 1 or 3. Board a tram heading towards the 'Rīgas Pasažieru Stacija' station. Alight at the 'Doma laukums' stop. From there, walk straight for about 100 meters to Herdera laukums. The Riga Cathedral will be just ahead at Herdera laukums 6.
Bicycle
If you're renting a bicycle, you can cycle along Brīvības iela heading south. When you reach the intersection with Herdera laukums, turn left and continue straight. The Riga Cathedral will be on your right at Herdera laukums 6. There might be bike racks available near the cathedral for you to park your bicycle.
