Walking
If you're in Kipsala, start by heading south towards the riverbank. Walk along the Daugava River, enjoying the scenic views. Continue walking along the river until you reach the bridge called 'Akmens tilts' (Stone Bridge). Cross the bridge, which will take you directly into the Zemgale Suburb area. After crossing, turn left onto 'Rīgas iela' and follow the road for about 10 minutes. The Latvian flagpole will be on your right side, situated in a small park area.

From Kipsala, walk to the nearest tram stop, 'Kipsala', located on the main road, which is about a 10-minute walk from most areas in Kipsala. Take Tram 11 towards 'Jugla'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Zemgale' stop. From there, walk south for about 5 minutes along 'Rīgas iela' until you see the Latvian flagpole situated in a small park. Note that a single tram ticket costs around 1.15 EUR.
