Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Old Town (Vecrīga), head east towards the Freedom Monument. Exit the Old Town through the Maza Pils Street, continuing straight until you reach the intersection with Brīvības iela. Turn right onto Brīvības iela and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will see the Freedom Monument ahead on your left, located in the beautiful Esplanade Park.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From the Central Market (Centrāltirgus), walk to the nearby tram stop 'Centrāltirgus'. Take tram line 1 or 2 in the direction of 'Gare' or 'Zasulauks'. Get off at the 'Brīvības bulvāris' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk straight ahead for about 100 meters, and you will see the Freedom Monument in front of you.
