Exit the Old Town through the Maza Pils Street, continuing straight until you reach the intersection with Brīvības iela. Turn right onto Brīvības iela and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will see the Freedom Monument ahead on your left, located in the beautiful Esplanade Park.

    From the Central Market (Centrāltirgus), walk to the nearby tram stop 'Centrāltirgus'. Take tram line 1 or 2 in the direction of 'Gare' or 'Zasulauks'. Get off at the 'Brīvības bulvāris' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk straight ahead for about 100 meters, and you will see the Freedom Monument in front of you.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    If you are near the Latvian National Opera, walk to the bus stop 'Opera'. Take bus number 22 or 23. Get off at the 'Brīvības iela' stop. From there, head east on Brīvības iela for about 200 meters, and the Freedom Monument will be on your right, in the Esplanade Park.
