If you are traveling by car, head towards Pilsrundāle in the Bauska Municipality. From the center of Bauska, take the A7 highway heading south. After approximately 10 kilometers, take the exit towards Pilsrundāle. Follow the signs for Rundāle Palace Museum, which is about 4 kilometers from the exit. You will see the palace on your right as you approach. There is parking available on-site, which is free.
Public Transportation
To reach Rundāle Palace Museum via public transportation, take a bus from the Bauska bus station. Look for a bus heading towards Pilsrundāle. The bus ride typically takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to Rundāle Palace (ask the driver to let you know when you arrive). From the bus stop, it is a short 10-minute walk to the museum. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as the frequency may vary, especially on weekends.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, consider cycling to Rundāle Palace. Start from Bauska, and take the same route as if you were driving on the A7 highway. There is a dedicated bike lane for part of the route. The distance is about 14 kilometers from Bauska, and it should take around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your cycling speed.
