Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from Cēsis, which is a well-known town in the Vidzeme region. Head east on A2 towards Drabeši parish. After about 10 kilometers, take the exit towards Drabeši. Follow the signs to Amatas dabas taka. There is a parking area near the starting point of the trail. Make sure to check if there's a parking fee, which typically ranges from 1 to 2 EUR.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Amatas dabas taka using public transportation, first take a bus from Cēsis to Drabeši parish. Buses run multiple times a day, and the journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Upon arrival at the Drabeši stop, you can either walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to the trailhead or check for local taxi services. If you choose to walk, head southeast along the main road until you see signs for Amatas dabas taka. The bus fare is usually around 1.50 EUR.
