Getting There

  • Car

    From Beirut, take the coastal highway south to Damour, then follow the road to Beiteddine. From Beiteddine, follow signs to Maasser El Shouf. The drive takes approximately 1.5 - 2 hours depending on traffic. Be aware of winding mountain roads. There is no entrance fee for vehicles, but be aware of parking availability near the entrance.

  • Public Transport

    From Beirut, take a bus to Baakline. From Baakline, take a shared taxi (service) to Maasser El Shouf. The bus fare is approximately 5,000 LBP, and the shared taxi will cost around 10,000 LBP. Confirm with the driver that they will stop at Maasser El Shouf. The entire journey may take about 2-3 hours.

  • Walking

    If you are already in Maasser El Shouf, you can walk to the Maasser Cedar Forest entrance. From the town square, follow signs to the forest. The walk is relatively short and easy.
