Walking
From the center of Deir el Qamar, head north on the main street (Beirut Road) towards the Barouk area. Continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Barouk. At this intersection, you will see signs pointing towards Barouk Reserve. Follow this road, which is well-marked, for another 2 kilometers. The path will lead you through scenic landscapes. Once you reach Barouk village, ask locals for directions to the reserve, as it is well-known in the area.
Public Transport
Start at the main square in Deir el Qamar and look for a shared taxi or 'service' heading towards Barouk. These typically leave when full, so be prepared for a short wait. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Barouk, you can walk to the reserve by following the signs. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the drop-off point to the entrance of Barouk Reserve.
