Walking
If you're in the center of Anjar, start at the main square where the market is located. Head east on the main street (Beirut Road) towards the mountains for about 1.5 km, enjoying the local shops along the way. You will see signs pointing towards Harissa. As you approach the area, you will notice the road starting to incline. Continue walking straight until you reach the base of the mountain. Here, you can either take a taxi or walk up the steep path leading to Our Lady of Lebanon. If you choose to walk, it will take approximately 30 minutes of uphill walking. Follow the path signs, and enjoy the scenic views as you ascend.

Taxi
From anywhere in Anjar, you can easily find a taxi. Simply flag one down or ask at your hotel for assistance. Tell the driver you want to go to Harissa, specifically to Our Lady of Lebanon (بازيليك سيدة لبنان). The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey. Once you arrive at the site, the driver can drop you off at the entrance.

Public Transport
Take a local bus heading towards Jounieh from the Anjar bus station. Buses are frequent and will take you to Jounieh in about 30 minutes. Once in Jounieh, you can catch a taxi or a shared van up to Harissa. It’s advisable to ask the bus driver or conductor to let you know when you reach Harissa. The taxi or van ride will take an additional 15 minutes to reach Our Lady of Lebanon.
