Getting There

Walking
Start at the main square of Bcharre, known as the Martyrs' Square. From there, head northeast towards the main road (Lebanon Mountain Trail). Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with the main road leading to Tripoli. Once you reach this junction, you can either ask locals for the most convenient way or follow signs that indicate the direction to Tripoli. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the bus station in Bcharre, where you can catch a shared taxi or a minibus to Tripoli.

Once you reach the bus station in Bcharre, look for shared taxis (also known as 'service') heading to Tripoli. The taxi drivers will usually call out their destination, so listen for 'Tripoli' or 'Tarabulus'. The fare is typically affordable, and the journey will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once in Tripoli, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the Citadel.

After being dropped off in Tripoli, you should be near the central area. If not, ask for directions towards the 'Al-Mina' area. From there, head east towards the Citadel which is a prominent landmark. You can ask locals for directions to 'Citadel of Tripoli', and they will guide you.
