Walking
If you are staying in the Hamra area, head east on Hamra Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Bliss Street. Turn right onto Bliss Street and walk until you reach the University of Beirut. Keep walking straight; you will eventually see the Al-Omari Grand Mosque on your left side after about 15-20 minutes of walking.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Hamra neighborhood, walk to the nearest bus stop on Hamra Street. Take the bus number 15 or 17 heading towards Downtown Beirut. Ask the driver to let you off at the 'Martyrs' Square' stop. From there, walk towards the 'Al-Omari Grand Mosque', which is about a 10-minute walk. Head northwest towards the old city, and you will see the mosque in front of you.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi. Simply flag down a taxi on the street or use a ride-hailing app. Tell the driver 'Al-Omari Grand Mosque' or show them the address 'VGX4+42G, Beirut'. The taxi ride from most central locations in Beirut should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
