Bus
From the city center of Beirut, head to the Charles Helou bus station, which is located near the harbor. Look for buses heading to Jounieh or Keserwan. Make sure to ask for 'Jeita Grotto' or 'Valley of the Dog River' as your destination. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Jeita Grotto, follow the signs to the entrance.
Taxi
You can hail a taxi from anywhere in Beirut. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Jeita Grotto' or 'Valley of the Dog River, Keserwan.' The ride should take around 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a price before starting the trip, as taxis in Beirut do not have meters.
Shared Van (Service)
Look for shared vans (also known as 'service') at designated stops in the city. These vehicles often go to Jounieh and Keserwan. You can catch one near major areas like Hamra or the American University of Beirut. Inform the driver that you are going to 'Jeita Grotto.' The ride may take about 30-40 minutes, and you will be dropped off close to the entrance.
