Public Transportation
From Zahle, take a bus or shared taxi towards the mountain areas. Head to the main bus station in Zahle, near the city center, and look for transportation heading to Dhour Zahle. The fare is approximately 5,000 LBP (Lebanese Pounds) per person, and the journey takes about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Confirm with the driver that they are going to Dhour Zahle before boarding.
Car
If traveling by car, take the main highway (Lebanon Route 5) from anywhere in the Bekaa Valley towards Zahle. As you approach the city, look for signs indicating Dhour Zahle. The location is approximately 10 km from the center of Zahle. Follow the signs to reach the mountain peak area. There is usually no toll on this route, but be mindful of parking regulations.
Walking
From the center of Zahle, walk towards Ain El Kharroub Street. Continue north until the intersection with the 'Lebanon Road' (Zahle-Bekaa Road). Continue straight for about 2 kilometers, passing local shops and cafes. After approximately 20 minutes, look for signs indicating 'Dhour Zahle,' leading towards a scenic, elevated mountain view. This method is free.
