Public Transport
From Beirut, head to the Cola intersection and take a bus heading towards Zahle. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Anjar stop. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. From Zahle, take a minibus to Chtoura, then change to another minibus to Anjar. The Anjar Citadel is a short walk from the bus station.
Taxi
Taxis are available from major cities like Beirut, Zahle, or Baalbek. Negotiate the fare beforehand. A taxi from Zahle may cost between 15,000 to 25,000 LBP. The taxi will drop you off directly at the entrance of Anjar Citadel.
Driving
From Beirut, take the Beirut-Damascus International Road (Route 1) eastward towards the Bekaa Valley. Follow signs for Chtaura and continue east until you reach Anjar. The citadel is located at PWMM+3C4, Aanjar, and is easily accessible. Parking is available near the site.
