Getting There

Walking
If you're starting from Broummana's main square, head east on the main road (Moukhtara Street). Continue straight until you reach the junction with Barouk Road. Here, turn left onto Barouk Road and follow it for about 4 kilometers. You will pass through beautiful mountain scenery. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Shouf Biosphere Reserve. As you approach, you will see the entrance on your left. The walk should take approximately 1 hour.

From Broummana, you can take a local shared taxi (service) heading towards Barouk. These taxis can be found near the main square. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Shouf Biosphere Reserve. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will need to walk a short distance to the entrance of the reserve, which is well signposted.
