From the center of Marjayoun, head towards the main road (Route 5). You can start at the Marjayoun Souk, a bustling market area. Walk east along the main road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several local shops and cafes, and you can enjoy the local atmosphere. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will reach a junction where you can see signs pointing towards Riyaq. Turn left at this junction and continue straight for another kilometer, where you will see a small sign for the Old Rayak Train Station. The landmark is located at V234+39W, Riyaq.

From Marjayoun, locate the bus station near the town square. Look for buses heading towards Riyaq or Baalbek. The fare is usually very affordable.
