Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Byblos Old Souk, head south towards the main road (Jbeil-Byblos Road). As you exit the Souk area, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the road to the beach. Turn left at this intersection and walk along the sidewalk. Continue walking until you reach the main square of Byblos. UNESCO Square is a short distance from the beach area, located on your right side just past the entrance to the archaeological site.

From the Byblos Castle, exit the castle grounds and walk towards the main road. Turn left onto the main road and continue walking straight. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with the road leading to the beach. Turn right at the intersection and keep walking until you arrive at UNESCO Square, which will be on your left side.

If you are at the Byblos Port, exit the port area and head towards the main road. Turn right and walk straight along the road. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards the city center. After approximately 5 minutes, you will reach UNESCO Square, which is located close to the entrance of the archaeological site and will be on your right.
