Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Deir el Qamar, head east towards the main road. When you reach the main road (known as the Beirut-Damascus Road), turn left and walk along the sidewalk. Continue walking for about 2 kilometers until you reach the sign for Aanjar on your right. Follow the sign which will direct you towards Aanjar. After about 500 meters, you will see the entrance to Aanjar on your left.

    From Deir el Qamar, walk to the local bus station, which is located near the town square. Look for a bus heading towards Baalbek or Aanjar. The fare is usually very affordable. Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you wish to get off at Aanjar. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. After disembarking, follow the signs to the main entrance of Aanjar, which is just a short walk away.
