A Serene Escape at Boghos Ghougasian Park

Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Anjar, start by heading west on the main road, which is known as 'Main Street'. Continue walking straight for approximately 500 meters until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the local market. At the intersection, turn left and walk for about 300 meters. You will pass several small shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the local bakery on your right as a landmark. After passing the bakery, continue straight until you reach the next intersection. Here, turn right onto the road that leads toward the outskirts of Anjar. Walk for another 700 meters. You will notice signs indicating the direction to Boghos Ghougasian Park. Follow those signs, and after a short walk of approximately 200 meters, you will see the entrance to the park on your left. The park is located at coordinates PWGJ+J9H, Aanjar.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  If you're near the bus station in Anjar, look for buses heading towards the nearby towns or the main routes that pass through the area. Board any bus that mentions 'Aanjar' as a stop. Once you get off the bus, you will be dropped off close to the main road. From there, follow the walking directions as described above. It’s a short walk of about 10-15 minutes to get to Boghos Ghougasian Park from the bus stop.

• Bicycle (Renting a Bike)

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Anjar. Start by heading west from your rental location on Main Street. After 500 meters, turn left at the intersection towards the local market. Continue for another 300 meters until you see the bakery on your right. After the bakery, turn right at the next intersection. Continue for about 700 meters on the road leading to the outskirts of Anjar. Look for the signs directing you to Boghos Ghougasian Park, which you will find on your left after a short distance of 200 meters.
