From the center of Deir el Qamar, head east towards the main road (شارع العير). Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, take a left onto the road leading to Aanjar. Continue along this road for about 3 kilometers. You will start to see signs for the Umayyad City Ruins. As you approach Aanjar, the site will be on your right side, easily recognizable by its archaeological features.

From Deir el Qamar, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the main square. Look for a bus heading toward Aanjar, which typically runs every hour. Once you board, inform the driver of your destination. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes. After arriving at the bus stop in Aanjar, walk for about 10 minutes in the direction of the visible ruins. The Umayyad City Ruins will be located just off the main road on your right.

If you prefer a more direct method, you can hire a local taxi from Deir el Qamar. You can find taxis near the main square. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Umayyad City Ruins in Aanjar. The journey will take around 15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the entrance to the ruins, making it convenient for you to explore the site.
