Walking
Start from the main square of Deir el Qamar, located near the historic Sayyidah Church. From there, head towards the main road, the Deir el Qamar Road. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of the village. Once you are at the entrance, you can take a local bus or shared taxi to Beirut. Make sure to ask for the bus heading to Beirut Central District specifically.
Bus
From the main square in Deir el Qamar, walk to the nearest bus stop which is usually near the church. Look for a bus that indicates 'Beirut' or 'Beirut Central District'. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Beirut, ask the bus driver to let you off at the nearest stop to the Beirut Central District.
Shared Taxi
Head to the main square of Deir el Qamar where shared taxis (called 'Service') frequently depart. Look for a taxi that is heading to Beirut. You can confirm this with the driver. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Beirut, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to the Central District.
