Walking
From the center of Deir el Qamar, start at the main square (Place de l'Eglise). Head southeast towards the main road (Route de Deir el Qamar) and continue walking for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection. Turn left at the intersection and follow the road as it winds uphill. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see the sign for Darb el Qamar (Sentier de la Lune) pointing left. Take this left turn onto a narrower path that leads into the woods.

If you are starting from the Deir el Qamar Palace, exit the palace grounds and head east toward the main road. Turn left onto the main road and walk for about 700 meters. Look for the sign for Darb el Qamar (Sentier de la Lune) on the right side of the road. Follow the path indicated by the sign, which will lead you into a scenic area suitable for hiking.

If you find yourself near the old souk (market) of Deir el Qamar, exit the souk and head towards the main square. Walk straight towards the main road. After reaching the main road, turn right and continue until you see the sign for Darb el Qamar (Sentier de la Lune). This will be approximately a 10-minute walk. Follow the sign to access the hiking trail.
