Walking
Start at the Jounieh Souk (market) area. From the entrance of the Souk, head north towards the coastal road (also known as the Jounieh main road). This should take about 5-10 minutes. Once you reach the coastal road, turn left and walk along the promenade for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes on your right. Continue walking until you reach the cable car station for Harissa, which is directly next to the main road.

Cable Car
Once you arrive at the cable car station, purchase a ticket for the ride to Harissa. The cable car ride takes about 10-15 minutes and offers beautiful views of Jounieh Bay and the surrounding mountains. After disembarking at the top, follow the signs leading towards Our Lady of Lebanon. It’s a short 5-minute walk uphill from the cable car station. You will see the basilica ahead, marked by its impressive statue of the Virgin Mary.

If you prefer to use public transport, check for local buses or shared taxis (service taxis) that head toward Harissa. You can ask locals at the Souk or near the coastal road for the nearest bus stop. Ensure you inform the driver you're heading to the 'Basilique de Notre Dame de Liban' in Harissa. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, dropping you off near the entrance of the basilica, followed by a short walk uphill to the church.
