Getting there

Car

From Koura, head south on the main road towards the city of Zgharta. Continue on this road for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the intersection of the road leading to Beit ed-Dine. Follow the signs directing you towards Beit ed-Dine, and take the left turn onto the secondary road. Continue on this road for about 10 minutes. You will see the entrance to Beiteddine Palace on your left. There is a parking area available at the site.

Public Transportation

If using public transportation, start by taking a shared taxi (service) from Koura to Sidon. Ask the driver to drop you off at the main bus station. From there, you can find a bus heading towards Beit ed-Dine. The bus ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at Beit ed-Dine, the palace is a short walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips.

Taxi

For a more direct option, consider hiring a taxi from Koura to Beit ed-Dine. The journey will take around 40 minutes, and you should negotiate the price before starting the trip. It's advisable to confirm with the driver that they will wait for you while you visit the palace or arrange a pickup time.
