Car
From any location in North Lebanon, take the main road heading south towards Beirut. Follow the signs for the Coastal Highway (also known as the Beirut-Damascus Highway). As you approach Beirut, continue on the highway until you reach the downtown area. Look for signs directing you to Martyrs' Square (ساحة الشهداء). There are parking options available nearby, but be aware that parking may incur a fee, typically ranging from 2,000 to 5,000 LBP for a couple of hours.
Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from major towns in North Lebanon, such as Tripoli or Batroun, that head toward Beirut. Look for buses labeled 'Beirut' or 'Downtown.' The fare will typically cost around 5,000 to 10,000 LBP depending on your starting point. Once you arrive in Beirut, you can either walk to Martyrs' Square if you are close to the downtown area or take a taxi for a short ride, which will cost approximately 10,000 to 15,000 LBP.
Taxi
For a more direct option, you may opt for a taxi. You can hire a local taxi from any town in North Lebanon that will take you directly to Martyrs' Square. The cost will vary based on your starting location, but expect to pay between 30,000 to 60,000 LBP for the trip. Ensure to agree on a fare before starting the journey, as taxis may not always use a meter.
