Car
If you're driving to Qadisha Grotto, start from Bsharri. Head towards the address 62X2+GR5, Bsharri. Follow the signs leading to the Qadisha Valley. The road will be winding and may require caution, especially in inclement weather. Once you reach the parking area near the grotto, you may need to pay a small fee for parking, typically around 5,000 LBP (Lebanese Pounds). From there, it's a short walk to the entrance of the grotto.
Public Transportation
To reach Qadisha Grotto using public transport, take a bus from Beirut to Bsharri. Buses depart from Charles Helou Bus Station in Beirut and the fare is approximately 15,000 LBP. Once you arrive in Bsharri, look for local taxis or shared taxis that go towards Qadisha Valley. The taxi fare to the grotto area may range from 10,000 to 20,000 LBP depending on negotiation. Ensure to confirm that the taxi can drop you off close to the grotto entrance.
Walking
Once you have parked your car or arrived by taxi, the final stretch to Qadisha Grotto is best explored on foot. Starting from the parking area, follow the marked trails leading to the grotto. The path is well-maintained and offers beautiful views of the valley. It typically takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the grotto entrance. Be prepared for some elevation, so wear comfortable shoes.
