Walking
From the center of Rashaya, head towards the main road leading south (the road you arrived on). After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach a junction. Continue straight on the main road, following the signs for 'Qaraoun'. This road will take you through a scenic mountainous area. Keep walking for about 5 kilometers. You will notice the landscape changing as you descend towards the lake area. Once you reach the lake, you can explore the shore and enjoy the views.

Public Bus
Start at the main bus station in Rashaya. Look for a bus heading towards the town of 'Kherbet Qanafar' or 'Baakleen'. These buses typically leave every hour. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kherbet Qanafar, you will need to ask locals for directions to Lake Qaraoun, which is about 3 kilometers away from the bus stop. You can either walk or ask if there are any local taxis available to take you to the lake.

Shared Taxi
From the center of Rashaya, find a shared taxi (service taxi) going towards 'Qaraoun'. These taxis usually wait near the main square or the bus station. Share taxis are a convenient way to travel, and the fare is relatively low. The ride to Lake Qaraoun will take approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to go to Lake Qaraoun, and they will drop you off at a suitable point near the lake.
