From the center of Rashaya, head towards the main road leading south (the road you arrived on). After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach a junction. Continue straight on the main road, following the signs for 'Qaraoun'. This road will take you through a scenic mountainous area. Keep walking for about 5 kilometers. You will notice the landscape changing as you descend towards the lake area. Once you reach the lake, you can explore the shore and enjoy the views.

Start at the main bus station in Rashaya. Look for a bus heading towards the town of 'Kherbet Qanafar' or 'Baakleen'. These buses typically leave every hour. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kherbet Qanafar, you will need to ask locals for directions to Lake Qaraoun, which is about 3 kilometers away from the bus stop.
