Getting There

    If you are in the center of Rashaya, start by heading towards the main square. Look for the prominent clock tower; this is a well-known landmark. From the clock tower, walk straight along the main road, which is called 'Rashaya Main Street.' Continue walking for about 500 meters until you reach a fork in the road. At the fork, take the left path that leads uphill. You will see signs pointing towards Rachaya Citadel (Citadel of Independence). Keep walking for about 1 kilometer, and you will see the citadel on your right, perched on a hill.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the main bus station in Rashaya, take a bus that is heading towards Rachaya Baalbek. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Rachaya Citadel. The bus will take you along the main road. After approximately 15 minutes, the bus will stop near the entrance to the citadel. From the bus stop, it is a short 5-minute walk uphill to reach the citadel entrance.

    If you are renting a bicycle, start at the main square of Rashaya and head towards Rashaya Main Street. Continue straight, following the same route as if you were walking.
