Car
From the center of Berea, head northwest on the main road towards Maseru. Follow the signs to Thaba-Bosiu. After approximately 30 minutes of driving, you will reach the intersection of the A1 road. Continue straight on the A1 road, and look for signs indicating Sekhutloaneng Thaba-Bosiu. The lodge is located near the Thaba-Bosiu Cultural Village. There is ample parking available at the lodge.
Public Transportation
From Berea, you can take a public taxi (also known as a combi) to Maseru. Head to the nearest taxi rank and catch a taxi heading to Maseru. The fare is typically around 10-20 Maloti. Inform the driver you are heading to Thaba-Bosiu. Once in Maseru, you may need to take another taxi or walk to Sekhutloaneng Thaba-Bosiu, which is about a 10-minute drive from the city center. Be sure to ask locals for directions if needed.
Walking from Local Drop-off Point
If you are dropped off near the Thaba-Bosiu Cultural Village, you can walk to Mmelesi Lodge Thaba-Bosiu. From the cultural village entrance, head east and follow the signs leading to the lodge. It’s about a 15-minute walk on a well-marked path. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain might be uneven in parts.
